Existing research shows that people do not turn down therapy treatment if they know they are being recorded. Clients even appreciate the improvement in care when you're not preoccupied by manual note taking. However, patients may not disclose as much information when recorded.
Emotivo does NOT record or save patient audio. You decide that as a clinician with your own device. Sensitive audio data is processed on your computer. Once we have analyzed and generated a summary of the encounter, we delete any text data for security and privacy purposes.

How it works?
Start session
Login, start a session in the platform, then start your encounter, in-person or via your preferred telehealth platform. As long as audio is clear, we will be able to process it.
Automatically Transcribe
Emotivo automatically transcribes the conversation on your local device, so you don’t need to take your attention off your client/patient
Post-session Processing
End the recording in Emotivo when the patient leaves. We redact identifying details, then use AI to summarize into a progress note.
Review effectiveness and trends
Analysis on therapeutic alliance/rapport and generated. Therapeutic alliance metrics are saved in Emotivo for your review. EHR integration is available.
